this is a sweet map deez and i can c its a lot of work whit all the paint....i love the mountins and the little ravine and i don't know how you managed to slope the terrain and then make all the little hills on the ganja fields...must been a lot off work......  |

Smallest round brush. Make a bump on two ends and make a path between the two. And for the crop rows that are on a curve, I had to make a bump in the middle of the row and path it to both ends.
If you notice the trails that aren't the primary paths aren't roads. They are made with paint.

Agreed yoz, DEEZs map not only is a joy to play, it also has a fun sense of mischief - I love the ganja fields  on the two occasions I've played this map so far, they always get set on fire lol....who would do such a thing - maybe they're the police  Great video too DEEZ, it's a stunning looking map and the film shows that  I was also very impressed with yozs map too - there's nothing like a nice drive in the country....running people over on the way lol great fun I'll be editing yozs video this evening and post it here later tonight |

Nice. I'll be gone for most of the day, but I'll try to get on this evening and play whatever maps are ready for this comp. If you watch the ganja farmer video on youtube with lyrics, that's basically what the guy is talking about. Babylon coming to destroy his crops with fiery fertilizer, so he takes his stinkin' rocket launcher and gives them some back.
I have been wanting to edit Green Bowl for sometime now. Put a giant hookah in the middle, with elevators inside of course and a glass bottom that you can jump the jeeps through. But I want to make it playable so it won't fit this theme.

Sounds great DEEZ, don't forget there are 2 catergories, and we can enter a map in each section -Playable SP mode map -Showcase map, where anything goes, doesn't even have to be playable. Sounds like Green Bowl would fit very nicely into the latter section  |

Does the video program not have RGB? The logo I sent you is made in RGB with makes it more vibrant. The logo appears to be in CMYK mode, which is primarily used for printing.

Nice video.
I would've made a video from what I recorded but they're in MPEG2 format and WMM doesn't support that. The problem is that I don't even have enough space on my hard drive to re-encode them as .wmv files. If there were a way to delete them as it goes or overwrite them... Ah well, it's over 4 gigs of video that's almost useless. lol
I'll poke around and see what can be eliminated to free up space.

Thanks DEEZ. I always work in RGB, I can't understand why it has the appearance of CMYK, I don't do that much printing these days -you're right it does look a little 'washed out' - I'll have to investigate further - I did erase the white background (in photoshop) from the logo you sent so as to get it into TIFF format with transparent background, but that shouldn't have affected the colours. I'll look into the video editor also - as far as I know it uses RGB standard too - I could tweak the colour balance etc to make it more vibrant. I start a new recording at the beginning of each match. It also makes it much, much easier to pics out the spots you want and the ones you don't. |
