If you're a racing game fan and at the same time like futuristic (and maybe a *bit* crazy) design, then you should definitely get this, especially considering Sony is offering it as a part of their welcome back pack.

Seriously, this game possibly has the best design I've ever seen in any racing game. My jaw nearly dropped to the ground when I saw those awesome-looking, uber futuristic tracks, I was like "Holy CRAP!". Wow.

I really wish more games would take place in such environments. Ratchet & Clank locations + ballistic + win = WipEout.

How long do we have to get the free games?

Wipeout is one of my favorite racing games.

The game is so awesome.
Zones mode is definitely my favorite. It also allows you to take screenshots in game.
Here's some for your entertainment. These tracks look so beautiful.







And zones mode which is to see how long you can go before wrecking your ship while the game gets faster and faster.
As it gets faster, the entire look of the track changes. What's also cool is that the track itself and other pieces around the track like TV screens and such become a visualizer for whatever music is playing. (including anything you have on the hard drive)

I've been playing this again. Spent a lot of time staring at the track preview, which is active before you toggle race start. The camera pans through the entire track and gives ya various views.

Those tracks are indeed plain beautiful. Maximum eye candy. Whoever designed this game, is awesome.

Also, the screenshot mode is a nifty feature. It allows you to even edit the photo in some parameters, like exposure and saturation. I might use a WipEout pic for an artwork sometime.
