Can`t you do the 24h race in b-spec, Just start the race in a-spec and turn it to b-spec when you go to sleep and finish the race in a-spec. And in b-spec you could put the speed x5 i believe.
It worked in gt3 i`m not sure if it still works today.

Nice pictures btw, Also short days for me these days.
Going to the store is next to impossible because of the heavy snow the last 2 weeks.

I've pretty much given up on completing this game 100%.

1. I've always sucked at the license tests.
2. So much to do, I just am too lazy.
3. And here's the clincher, I'll never ever have enough free time to complete a 24 hour race. I've heard there are two of them actually. Even my gaming-heavy schedule doesn't allow for that long a gaming session.

Some more pics taken during races. Smiley You can achieve some neat effects with the in-game tools. No photo editing has been done outside of the game.

DO they have spectator mode in this version?
That's how I always completed the endurance races.  And just about any other race I could use it on.

yoz & deez;
B-spec is still in the game, but it's far more advanced than in the previous games. In GT4, you simply just had to reach 25% game completed to open endurance. In this game, you will have to reach either A-spec level, or B-spec level 25 to open the endurance race series. It doesn't even show up until you reach lvl 25. I'm currently at lvl 20, just opened the Extreme race series.

More in-depth B-spec information; (just gonna call it B)
when you're going to drive B, you will need to create a driver, and start his career with the easy races. This way, he will level-up the same way you do in A. You're drivers level will not only affect which races you get to enter, but also it will affect your racers physics and mental-strength. In other words, your driver gets affected by the length of the race. A lvl 1 B driver, will be able to drive a 10 lap race on Tsukuba, but then he starts to get tired. He'll level up while you complete races, and when you reach level 25, he will probably be able to drive the 4-hour endurances. But when you reach the 1000km, and 24 hour races, you will need two drivers, so that the other one will be able to rest. You will be able to change the driver in while refilling gas and changing tires in the pit-stop. But remember; both drivers should be the same level, or at least pretty close. If you want to drive the Nürburgring Nordschleife 24 hour endurance, you will need to get the driver all the way to level 40. That's gonna take a lot of time. And remember, you'll need two of them to be able to drive the whole race. I don't think you'll be able to change to A while being in a B race, cause the B and A are two different areas in the game, and you'll get different cars from winning all races in A and B.

This game has less races than GT4 had, but now you'll need to complete all races in both A and B, and that makes this game more complicated than GT4, but it's also more exciting and you'll have a better chance off winning a race if you pick the right car. In GT4, some races were almost unbeatable, cause you would have to use a specific car, and it would need to be untuned.. In this game, you get more freedom to do whatever you want. And when you really want a challenge, go to the special events, or try to beat every License test with gold.

+ B in this game is much more lifelike, and I think the idea is great. They really put an effort in making this game awesome in every way.
- It takes a lot of time to level up in both A and B. Some people don't really have the time to do this.
= Though B takes a lot of time, this game is not meant to be completed in a week or a month. This game should be enjoyable for a long time. You'll need some challenges.

Hope this was helpful to you Smiley

Hey guys, I thought I should show you this link;
http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/gran-turismo-5/81077-race-series-what-car-use.html

It's a guide that shows you what cars you should buy, and use for which races. It's a real moneysaver if you follow this guide. I'm currently lvl 22, and got 2,6 mill cr. Still need 2,4 so that I can afford the f1 car in the used dealership..

the veyron is not as amazing as it sounds like. sure it can drive fast, but compared to any other fast car, it sucks D: my toyota minolta is kicking some serious a$s tho Tongue so is my GT-R 07 ^^ i like to lotus esprit as well, but i try not to buy random cars until I've gotten a lot of money and all the major important cars, like the F1 car. You can't complete extreme races without it, because of the Formula Gran Turismo Championship.. At 0km, it costs 5,000,000 in the Used dealership. I think it will show up as soon as you're entering level 24, cause you need to be a level 24 driver to buy it..

But when I've gotten the F1 car and gotten to lvl 25, then I'm gonna chill out ^^

Can't wait to get a hold of Nissan R92CP, it's the coolest, sickest LM car ever Cheesy Don't know how tho, think it'll probably show up in the used car dealership aswell.

Yeah it is a great game and today i tried getting it in the shop and they where sold out....
The amount of content in the game is just great and anyone that says the graphics are not good have not played the game in all its Glori.

Luckily i don`t have to install the game when i get it, a friend came over whit the game and ended up staying 2 days  Cheesy 1 full night of installing/updating...
We should make a leaderboard for some tracks or something. Anyone made any tracks for this?

Well it's not that the graphics are bad at all, just very inconsistent. Some tracks look plain and bland, others are interesting and detailed. Up close, most textures look really bad and there are a lot of 2d stuff is used, crowds, backgrounds, some detail objects, similar to the fake forests from FC2. About 200 of the cars are modeled with the newest tech and they look friggin' amazing. They also ported about 800 or so cars from GT4 with a bit of polishing, these look remarkably worse and some look downright ugly.

The graphics do look absolutely amazing when you're going down the track, like the video above.
