The official playstation magazine had a small hint in it about Farcry 3 "Take out your malaria pills because we might need them in 2011" I cant post the official link because its only for members atm. Just google it and you will find some recent articles.

Hopes and dreams for fans of the Far Cry series are finally answered.  Far Cry 3 has finally been announced at this years E3.
Far Cry 3 will be released in 2012.
