Forgotten Lands; map series by Metallicamaniac

Many of you have played my "Forgotten" maps. The complete collection is:

Forgotten Xing
Forgotten Fortress(90% done at the moment)
Forgotten Arena
Forgotten City
Forgotten Gods(5% done at the moment)

Some of you might remember I said i was going to make 5 maps in the Forgotten category. And I guess i've kept my word. Forgotten fortress was infact almost done, 5-6 months ago, before i even started on Arena, but I haven't worked on it much since then, cus its hard to make very playable. But i just started on Forgotten Gods, and it looks pretty sweet so far. I'm using colonial fences to make some sort of statues/big faces. Cheesy

I remember writing some sort of "storyline" for these maps, but I can't remember where i posted it!?
If someone finds it, please quote it or just copy it or something to this tread Tongue

Would be cool to see some others make map series'es too Cheesy

I've posted a beta of my 2 grid entry. Its called forgotten arena.

BTW
Im making a lot of maps in the "Forgotten" category
I also got a story for them, sort of

The year is 4247. Mars is suffering the same fate as earth did some thousen years earlier. It makes the planet hot and life is hard to survive. In some places, there is possible to live a healthy life though, where the air is clean, and the temperatures are not that high. These sacred places is to be found inside the Forgotten Desert of Mars

Forgotten Xing: An oasis-crossing in the middle og the desert of Mars.
Forgotten Fortress: A fortress securing the Sacred Tree and the passage through the jungle.
Forgotten Arena: A securetypost deep inside the jungle, making sure no intruders are getting further into the jungle.
Forgotten City: A city inside the jungle where the air is clean and people can still live healty for hundreds og years.
Forgotten Holiness: The sacred place of the statue of the marsian god.

If someone has tips and ideas for me, for more maps in this category, please notify me  And what do you guys think of this idea?

Thx Deez Smiley
At the time, I'm working on Forgotten Gods. Think it's going to be pretty cool. The statue is hard to make tho, I need a lot of patience Tongue, and a bottle of rom! well, guess i'll make it without the rom lol, but patience is a great need whenever you're making a map, and this will take a while lol. Heading for the great, beautiful mountains of Norway on Friday, so i'll be gone until somewhere between tuesday and thursday, depending on the weather. But think i'm gonna get it done before school starts, which is two weeks from today. I don't know how many weeks you get of school in the states during the summer? I guess you are done with school long time ago tho Tongue In norway we've got about 8 weeks without any school Grin
