Does anybody play games on Steam?
I just signed up for an account, it's free.  I haven't played any games on it though.  Does anybody know any good ones?

If you don't want to get the retail version of a game then Steam is a good option. The Total War series require it now so I've got Empire and Shogun on there. They occasionally have good deals on some older games.

I'd recommend The Witcher 2 if you like RPG's and have the hardware to run it.

What kind of hardware?

My good pc has a decent processor, 512mb video and somewhere around 4gb memory.

The pc I mostly use has a 3ghz processor, 64mb video memory, and 1gb memory.  I don't know how, but I run cs5 along with a bunch of other programs at the same time on this one.

The Recommended Requirements:
Processor: Quad Core Intel or AMD
RAM: 3GB Win XP/ 4GB Vista/7
Graphics: GeForce 260 1GB or (HD4850 1GB)
HDD Space: 16 GB

Processor: AMD Phenom II Quad core 3.2 GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333
Graphics: Radeon HD6850 1MB 256 bit GDDR5

I run the game on medium, no AA.  I could probably get away with high details but want to keep my fps above 30-45.

Here's a video of one of the boss battles. The audio is out of sync at the end, but I've never had that issue. Must be his recording device.

The graphics look pretty sweet, but the pc I'm on right now can't even handle playing the video without it being choppy.  So I get lag anyways, unless I use google chrome.

Had anybody played any of the City of Heroes games?  Are they any god?

Well they now have a few games available for free, one of them being Team Fortress 2.

I'm downloading right now.
