iPod Aps

There are some pretty cool aps on the iPod/iPhone/iPad.  I can't use all of them since I use an iPod with no camera, but there are still some good ones.
They range from informative things like "Drinks Free" with thousands of drink recipes to pointless items like "Dog Whistler" so I can annoy my dog and he has no idea what's goin' on.
I keep "Dice" on my iPod. All you have to do is pick how many dice you want to throw and shake the iPod.
"FlipBoom Lite" is a free simple animation ap to make simple animations on your iPod/iPhone/iPad, but I recommend you get a stylus or it's too hard.
The free Level is handy when you're building something or trying to hang something straight.
There's "Mobile Mouse" which I haven't installed on my pc yet, but you can use your iPod / iPhone / iPad as a wireless control device for your pc.
All your seach engines, banks, social sites, ebay, youtube, netflix etc are avaible as aps too.
Guides for just about everything, links to your console gaming information aps; I'm not sure if there's much this thing can't do.
All of the GPS find any phone aps are BS though.  They only find your phone or phones on your account.
The Adult Jokes ap is pretty funny.  A bit less than half are funny.  There are some really good ones though.
I keep a dictionary and a translator on mine as well.  I never use them, but they "could" come in handy.

If you know of any good aps, please post them here.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I have no experience with iPods. I'm thinking of buying an 8GB new Nano. However, it is less for any music listening purposes and more as a very small pda - really all I want is a couple of apps: 1) a way to display .txt files, so I can use my laptop to load the Nano with txt files such as lists of items which I can then open and check when out and about and 2) a simple calculator - I don't know if this is possible, since inputting numbers may not be simple. Anyhow, I understand that Apple prolly doesn't have such apps, but are there any 3rd party apps that do that (authorized or not)? TIA!
