I actually have two now.
One I got from a friend and it only has a power cord and the console itself. It's one of the old white ones which I happen to like the look of better anyway. My little brother says the slim looks like a shiny black cereal box. rofl. Anyway, I tested it and it turns on but when I saw the guy playing it a few months ago it was constantly freezing and the framerate was so bad on any game it's like playing an FC2 map with 40 greenhouses stacked on top of each other in the middle. So I'd have to guess that it's gonna break soon anyway. I'd have to get a hard drive and a controller and another CAT5 cable since it doesn't have wifi... and a mic if I want one. A new 60GB Hard drive is like $60 + $100 for the inevitable repairs + $40 for a controller + $5 for a cable and maybe $30 for a mic... That's $235 right there and it's already out of warranty... I could easily get that stuff for less but I'm tired of getting used junk. So for $300 I got a slim with a controller, a mic, built in wifi, and a 250GB Hard drive. I heard the slim one have better cooling and it's definitely quieter that the normal one. Plus it has a one month free trial of Xbox live gold so I won't have to buy that
til the end of the month.
This is actually the first console I've ever bought new, everything else I got used 'cause I was always broke. lol
Not sure what I'll do with the other one... maybe trade it for a few bucks or something... Yoz, you want a fixer-upper? lol I wonder how much shipping would be to send it to the Netherlands.
