My friend brought his 360 over to my house so I might have to test out this Gears of War 2 and Assassins Creed 2 that he has here.
Has anybody played these?

Never played these.
I bought my 360 because of 2 games, which would be Test Drive Unlimited and Just Cause 1.
Those two games basically swept me off my feet.
Got GTA Episodes from LC later, which used to be 360 exclusive back then.

Well if I find time, meaning if I'm bored enough, I'll probably try to figure out this Gears of War 2 game this evening.
My friend has the live so I can get online and play if anybody else has the game.

I've got Gears Of War and in my opinion it's a bit boring, it'll probably be quite good online, basic case of run around and shoot lots of things, just got a bit pointless for me. AC2 is one of the best games I've ever played, it's so well made and pieced together and the story is one of the most engaging stories I've ever gone through. Definately a must if you liked the first one even just slightly  |

I'll probably just play Assassins Creed 2 then.
He's got Gears of War 1 and 2 and some other games there, I just haven't looked through them.

I've got AC2 for the PC. I got it free with a special offer graphics card, it's still in the sleeve though , I can never get used to using the keyboard controls. I've tried controller emulation software like x-padder, in conjunction with an USB 360 controller, but it never really works that well - there's always a few toggle keys that end up being missed out or something. It does look a great game though, maybe I'll get my act together and give it a go |

When I play pc games I use a $10 walmart usb controller that looks like a ps3 controller.

AC2 is a great game...much better than the original AC. Sets the story up nicely for the final one.
Don't be crossing over to xsux 360 tho...

I am now on Xbox live. In case anyone can't guess my gamertag, it's "Negrumir" as always.  I decided to get a nice new slim with a 250GB hard drive and all the good stuff. No games yet. lol I only got it for Halo Reach. Feel free to add me as I have no clue what (if any) of y'alls gamertags are. Random topic, these Avatars make me look like more of a doofus than I already am.  |

Well I registered my free gamerTag earlier. I'll buy the gold when I get Reach.
CaptainDEEZ and all variations I could think of were taken... Bastards!!
So I registered "cdeezgames com" and it does have a space in it.
I still haven't hooked mine up at home, and I still need to get a hdd for it, but when Reach comes out, you can bet you'll see my trying out the 360 for the first time. I just couldn't resist a "new" game with a map maker that looked that good.

Cool. Didn't know this many of us would have the 360 so soon.
When I hook mine up and set everything up all accept those invites. I don't really want to play it until I clean the controller with alcohol, lol. It's got a bit of grime in the crevices.

I have seen the 360 for 30€ on e bay...still not sure if its any good, it seems 2 cheap... Did you buy a new one negrumir? There are some RROD fixed up and on e bay im sure.... Yet to tell the wife...lol...maybe take her out to dinner first |

30 sounds pretty good. Just read the details to make sure everything is ok. And don't buy anything that sais "As Is".
