Here's what I'm getting over the next few months:

COD MW2 - 'nuff said
Assassins Creed II - Loved the gameplay and visuals from the first. Hoping ubi fixed the repetition and achievements.
MAG - Massive online FPS
BF:BC 2 - Best of the bunch IMO, just hope for a better party system
Heavy Rain - just looks cool
GOW 3 - GOW + PS3 = win
Bioshock2 - eh, why not
modnation racers - map editor + mario kart = win

Didn't know they were doing a Battlefield: Bad Company 2.  I'll get that if the multiplayer works better than the last one.  The destructible environments are awesome in that game, but get really repetitive since they are so predictable.

I've got 4 games on the way from ebay.  And all for under $90 total.
-Modern Warfare 2               -55
-Tomb Raider Revolutions      -10.50
-Folklore                            -12
-Tom Clancys: End War        -11

Average $15 - $20 per game including shipping, unless it's less than a month or two old.  With exception of a few games that hold their value for a long time.  This is due to being multiplayer online in most cases.

This is usually where I get my games.  99% of the time.
And if I don't like the game I can usually get at least what I paid for it back on ebay.  Unless I bought the game new.

modnation racers - map editor + mario kart = win

I can update this list a bit now:

COD MW2 - Been there, done that. Most maps were not to my liking, and the noobtube/knife freaks have made me move on.
AC II - Played and beat, one of the easier Platinum trophy's. Great game, highly recommend
MAG - played the beta, not impressed. Not buying
BF:BC2 - played in the beta, liked it alot. One map gets boring though, and the graphics need polished in the final release.
Heavy Rain - not so sure about this one...sounds like mostly Quicktime movies with a little gameplay thrown in
GOW3 - Still looking forward to this
Bioshock2 - probably still get this one
modnation racers - heard some mixed reaction from the beta players regarding the physics...not sure on this one.

Recently bought a bunch of games off Ebay...a few comments on those below:

NCAA Football 10 - not played yet
NHL 2010 - played a little,  liking this alot
Infamous - another fun game
Dragon Age - freaking awesome game. over 70hrs of gameplay
Bladestorm: 100 year war - underrated game. Like Dynasty Warriors but medievil
Lair - Always wondered about this and got it very cheap. My youngest really likes flying the dragons
Dirt 2 - fun game
Monopoly - additively fun game for the whole family
Operation Flashpoint - not as fun as I hoped. Controls are clunky, but its very tactical. Will play some more
Tekken 6 - not played yet

I'll probably pick up Dragon Age when I find it cheaper on Ebay.

I got it for $38, and its worth every penny. I got the DLC also after seeing how great a game it is. I'm considering getting Demon Soul also if I can get a decent deal.

That good huh?  How the content?  Too graphic for an 11 year old to see?
It's not repetitive?  Did they put a lot of work into the story?

The storyline is different at the beginning and end based on your choices.

The content is questionable for 11 yr old, as there is some partial demon nudity and there are several trophies based on bedding another character. However its not required to experience either to complete the game.

Each area you go to has its own look, so you don't feel like you are repeating the same thing. Tasks are repetitive in the sense that you go somewhere and kill a bunch of enemies, but no more than any other game. The boss battles can be quite difficult.

It's much more an RPG then Oblivion, and the storyline is its strong point IMO. Very deep character development and you feel invested in the story. For example, I choose to kill someone because of the betrayal I felt, even though letting him live could have made the final battle easier. Looking forward to the sequel now.

Sounds good.  Think I'll get it as long as I get around to getting it before Final Fantasy XIII comes out.

Here's the LBP2 announcement trailer. Looks totally sweet from what's in this vid.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs0T5l24JL0

I too, will probably get LBP2, I got the first one and enjoyed it. Only problem is when my little brother wants to play and can't keep up, I end up running out of the camera view and get the countdown until I die... The community levels are the best pert (like FC2) I just wish you could save them to your hard drive and be able to play them without being online.  Undecided

Other games on my horizon are Red Dead Redemption, (might get this real soon) Modination Racers, (looks neat, kinda doubt I'll get it but it's a possibility) Crysis 2, (looks cool to begin with, editor included = instant purchase) oh, and probably some other random game that pops up and I go "Ah sweet! *Buys*" lol
