We've got four cats and a dog. Living in the country makes that possible.

It's still too many.
We once had five cats and out of nowhere this pregnant cat showed up on our porch, made herself at home, and in a week or so had four kittens. We've got some kind of animal magnetism or something. lol We found homes for her and her kittens though.

On topic, this map is great. Love the detail and layout.  It actually runs better than I thought. Still not as good as I'd want. With a full game it was pretty choppy. You may want to try putting the large shanty fences inside of the colonial fences in places they'll fit. They'll snap to them if you you turn that option back on and they don't really poke out. And they actually behave like occlusion blocks.

You could also try finding spots where a larger occlusion block would fit instead of a bunch of smaller ones. It'll work better that way.

But that's some excellent work there. It might've been laggier for me 'cause my PS3 had been on all day...

That`s a nice trick...maybe i will check the outside of the lobby and try it out...(all single fences) I did learn a lot about occ and how its used whitout overdoing it.
Like the outside walls on the back of the main structure, you don`t have to put them there because there is nothing behind it.

I reworked the computer room...it had 2 skylights and i deleted one to get the performance up and it went from red to orange...
Its a bit of a pain to press select every time you want to check the performance bar...
I spend so much time on occ...more then on the map itself  Tongue

Thanks and i had a look if there is any other published broadcast maps, i guess not...
I looked under cod,cod4,broadcast,mw etc

There are pages full of other cod maps...

It probably just found something he just couldn't get his nose out of and got lost when it got dark, lol.
My dog is almost impossible to pull away from certain spots in the grass he's sniffing.

I found a couple. They didn't bring any food with them when they went camping so I delivered a heaping helping of "Violent Death" They didn't seem to think much of that though. It's all the same though, only a few people have the acquired taste necessary to enjoy such a treat. Grin

Well if you do a fly over in the editor then yes its red....it turns out the occ only works when you walk or play the map.
I am not going to defend that the gameplay is smooth.... unplayable... no i don't agree whit you...

I played a few rounds on it and i have played maps whit half the objects and twice as much 'lagg'.

I got 10 messages in 1 day...all friendly words  Grin from people that played the map...
When it comes down to it the engine is just bad and imo 'lagg' is just a break on your creativity.
CDG Strand is a map i made that was based on gameplay. Whit this map i wanted to test my skills in recreating a existing map.(my first attempt  Smiley )


What would we do whitout colonial fences...... Grin

Yesterday i played a CTD match on it and it ended up in 5-4 in 20 min.

There is one ctd point in the 'green' room and one outside in a house...

It's made as a 16 player map...maybe it would perform better whit 12 players...
We all would like a better performance from the fc engine...

I'm really happy whit the map either way...i only been on the forums for 7 months or so ...
If you would asked me to make this map when i just joined i would of LOL....

I enjoy the editor more then gameplay overall...

IMO If its gets validated its should be good 2 play and its just a easy way out from ubi-soft 2 put a performance bar/OCC in the map editor.
Why not put occ in the objects when you developed the game...or on a brush so you can paint whit it...

I mean they all ready knew it s a problem because they putt occ/performance bar in the editor.
