I like the sound of 2 grid arena, are we talking DM and TDM only here? Or will it have to support all modes?

Also, is it just the playable zone that must be 2 grids, or does the entire map need to fit into 2 grids?

Nevertheless, my vote is for 2 Grid Arena

The play area is limited to 2 grids, but you can extend beyond that with your construction if necessary to enclose or 'wrap' up your arena.

As far as game modes, DM and TDM at a minimum. Of course, having all modes will improve the maps playability and appeal.

I prefer you make it available for all modes.  It may not work the best for all modes, but if you can make it so, more points for you.

i voted 2 grid arena and also would be happy with retro gaming aswell. have a map in mind that would fit two of the choices (possibly 3) in the poll. Just have to keep my fingers crossed that one or the other gets chosen

If Retro wins I think I will plug the old 360 back in and have a flick through DOOM, I am sure I could re-create one of the levels from that game without a lot of trouble, maybe Retro isn't such a bad idea now.

Or I could trow together a Pac Man maze with tight corners and corridoors, the central area where the ghosts came out could be one team and their job would be to explore the maze and kill the other team - Power points could be Ammo Crates.

Voted for Explosive & Destructable. It doesn't look like it's gonna win though.

@Champ: Doom 1 or 2? It'd be cool to see a recreated Doom level. I've infact tried to recreate Entryway from Doom 2 twice, but got distracted both times and had other ideas, which lead to the fact that in the end neither of those 2 maps looked even a bit like Doom. I'm sure you'd do it better.

Stop reading my mind, lmfao.

I've made a 2 grid arena pac-man maze, complete with dots, cherries, banana's and pineapples. it covers the two choices in the lead. I just need to find an ounce of creativity to make the ghosts, and a decent looking pac-man. I should have a tester up and running tomorow night if you feel like jumping in on it with me and rob, Smiley

One thing that will definately need some rigorous testing at some point is the uprising points. All three of them are in the centre. the objective being, capture and defend. They all capture at the same time so it might be one big stalemate because of the size of the map.
