Been playing this for a few days now. I'm enjoying it more than COD, but I expected to. It only has one map and somethings are flaky due to being a beta. Still can't wait for this one to come out in March.

It's exactly like the first Battlefield game that came out on ps3.  Except for this one has way better graphics and I haven't noticed much multiplayer lag yet.  I'm not sure about the destructible environments either, yeah you can bring a building down but I think it looks the same each time.  The graphics are awesome and so is the sound, although the sound is the exact same as before.

I had a glitch where I was trying to plant a bomb in the train cart that is completely sealed.  So I used the engineer to break the door and had to duck to get under it.  I got stuck in that spot with a very small range of slow movement.  I was able to kill, but not get to the bomb planting spot or move away.  So I sat there and killed them until they got me.

I'm going to post the glitches I find in this topic that I made on the Battlefield Bad Company 2 forums.

http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/0/342150.page#3262659

I said, "Official (Glitch Topic) post all glitches here" so I hope they don't get mad.
But that way maybe they can read about the problems.

...Unless there's already some other method for this that I wasn't aware of?

The bug reporting system is the biggest bug so far...I've seen several sites listed but nothing official.

The train cart you mention needs fixed, as I have trouble too unless I go right thru the center of the opening. The graphics are ok, but I'm sure we'll see more polish in the final version. They probably 'dumbed it down' a bit so it would be a decent size download. I've noticed alot of bugs in the stats/awards system too. I've gotten medals for being the best player in a Deathmatch  Grin, and several for kills from air support when I wasn't using it. I had to crank up the sensitivity as it felt slow and sluggish on default. There still seems to be something with movement that needs tweaked. Its not very tight when trying to stop and turn quickly.

All that said, I love the gold rush type matches. Makes players work together either on attack or defense. I play recon exclusively, but rarely sit in a spot on the hillside. I like getting into the action and defending crates, spotting targets, throwing sensors, etc. Try the QBU88 out, you won't be sorry.

Yeah, I need to adjust the sensitivity.  I use the default and it is slow.  I'll have to try the splitfish, and see if it works in this one.  It didn't work for the vehicles or mounted weapons at all in the first one.

I hope the variety of maps is good in the final version.
I want to see some with forests, lakes, etc.

Do you know if they are going to put another game mode on this beta or not?

The beta keys are depleted, but you might still be able to get one by signing up on their website.

Don't know about another game mode...seems like they are working out the stats and rank ups right now.

Yeah, when I started playing I ranked up to 6 then went to 0 & never got any exp after a game until Sunday.  Now it's ranking up again, so you're probably right.
I haven't got any unlocks yet because I keep switching my class.
I like to switch between Recon, Engineer, and Medic.
Engineer is my favorite because I get to go through whatever walls I want to.
Although I used the Medic's shock pads and took out a chain link fence in one hit.  That's handy to know.

I think they need to remove the bars halfway up the doorways in the one train cart you need to blow your way into to plant the bomb.  That's still giving problems.  I keep getting stuck in that area.

I wish they would add prone position to this game.  I'm constantly getting sniped with my head sticking up.
