I don't know about the SVD, I like it, but one shot to the chest is mighty nice for me and the SVD lacks the damage for that.
At least I think it does...
I tested it one time with a friend, I could kill in one shot to the chest, but most of the time playing it only one-shots if it's a head shot.
The AS50 is okay to me, I can learn to use it... The really powerful scope is nice on big maps but the shots are usually a tiny bit off. Plus I can't make a head shot to save my life with that gun. The damage is the highest but it's a bit of overkill if the M1903 and Dart Rifle can one shot to the body. The AS50 will leave you with half of the last section of your health bar if you get shot in the foot.
On top of that the recoil is ridiculous and you'll usually have to line up the shot again after firing.
The Dart Rifle and M1903 are identical except for the Dart rifle being silenced and having to reload after each shot. The M1903 has a 5 shot clip, but it's a bolt action and you have to come out of the scope after each shot. Both guns, however, have unparalleled accuracy.
No scoping on FC2 is a major fail as the shot can go anywhere in the radius of the crosshairs. So basically, it's up to chance. The M1903 and Dart Rifle have the smallest crosshair size though, and it's really tight if you're standing still. Kinda defeats the purpose of no scoping though 'cause if I don't have to move, I might as well use a scope.
On a side note the M1903 and Dart rifle can one shot to the body, and so can the AS50. I wonder if the SVD can one shot to something like the upper chest or heart?
On another side note, when the Dart Rifle jams, your guy fiddles with and pulls out a clip on the bottom of the gun.

What the heck!? If this thing has a clip, why in the world am I loading in single darts?
