I'm hiding a computer in my newest level, it's almost complete too. So if you're ever really bored just sitting there, you can look for the computer in my level (I don't quite have a final name for my level yet.) By the way, you should look for the computer on foot. It's fairly difficult to find, and it would be harder to find it by flying around. (HINT: The computer is near the old and crumbled.)

I just typed quite a bit for telling about a computer in my level.  Tongue

Gas tanks and water pumps in FC2 can be used to create great visual effects. But what about small movable curtains? You can place market stalls from the Urban set, but one of the stalls costs about 250 points, and it has small curtains that can be shot around on it!

Make a list of movable objects somewhere in this forum that would be useful

Grab the big boat in the map maker. Set it on the ground, blow it up and wait for a while. (Be patient)
It should start sinking into the ground and then pop up hundred meters in the air. really cool Grin

I found something strange in the map editor... K, here's how to find it, set all terrain to 0m with no water, push select and jump in the map, check each corner of the map...tell me what you find.

Here's another thing I found in FC2, the small rocks that are in the desert set can be set on fire, and the fire will spread like it's burning grass.

I keep posting, but in the map editor settings, there's something called "camera auto scroll". I never knew what this was until I was randomly looking at the map editors help area for some reason. "camera auto scroll" is when you select something and the camera moves toward that objects center, so if you turn it off, you can select and adjust the sides or look at the smaller areas of the objects. I'm not sure if this will help anyone else, but it will help me.  Tongue

I worked out how to make a axe & a spade Grin Cool u just need a wood support(or something similar) & at least 1 pic frame, u hide most of the wood support underground or inside a building & u place a pic frame on the end so u can only see the back of the pic frame. if your axe or spade is standing up you have to place 2 pic frame to make the blade or spade bit doublesided or it will look like you'v stuck a pic frame on a wooden pole Tongue its not perfect tho if u shoot your axe blade it sounds like its made of wood, it might be possible to stick something metal underground below your axe or spike & it might make a metal noise then.

I finally found out why trees placed normally take so much more data than painting trees. Trees placed normally can be burnt by fire and lose all there leaves. But painted trees can't be burnt. Undecided

The placed trees probably wouldn't lag, but they would take a lot of your points.

If u want to launch boats high in the air, try placing them with their aft section in the ground(raised), then either they will be launced or fling about like crazy.

U can also link sever boats to each other like a giant snake, only use it in the editor because it creates major lag Smiley

Some one should make a vid of this, I haven't got the equipment Undecided
