I've been playing FC2 almost since it's release.
Today I was called "cheater" by someone. I've been called cheater f00k knows how many times, and it's starting to get on my nerves.
Some people cannot handle their own bad skills, but is that a reason to blame everyone who's better than them?
By the time my PS3 was dead, I played on the PC version of FC2, and f00k knows how many times I've been called cheater over there... like 5 times a day at it's peak. Sometimes I had to retain my trigger-happiness simply due to being afraid of getting banned. I've had people flaming towards me so many times, it's like "the next second I could get banned - again".
(On the PC version, it is MUCH worse, as the PC in general is known as a platform that allows hacking and modding)
That's why I always put voting off when I'm hosting.

I never thought you was a cheat... By the time my PS3 was dead, I played on the PC version of FC2 I wondered how you were playing so well... I thought you should have been out of practise. |

Well, but some others did.  It took me 1 round to get used to it again, as playing with a controller is different than playing with keyboard/mouse... Still, playing it on PC helped me to maintain my skills a lot. |

yeah some sick skills you got there m8 frikkin sniper shotgun....i dont like the style you use but will never bann 4 it..and pbs send me a message yesterday saying i could not use the ar16 against you.....  WHAT ELSE??? you avoid the rest by jumping |

Yeah, Undead and I at least are in the Oh-Sweet-Cinnamon-I-Hate-Getting-Killed-By-The-AR-16-Club. It's overpowered and too accurate compared to the other guns for the most part but I can't hate too much as it ends up being the only gun some people are comfortable with. As for me I'll stick with whatever suits me for that match.  But yeah, when I host, voting gets turned off, always. No one gets banned unless I say so. I don't seem to get banned from FC2 very much, but I used to get banned from Warhawk all the time... I wasn't that good. Except there was that one time I had a 56 kill-streak with a tank.  Voting in FC2 does nothing good. If a map needs to be skipped, the host can do it easily, if someone needs to be banned, the host can take care of that too, the time extend is useless, all it does is wear people out and bore them on one map for too long. If you need a longer time limit, set it before you start playing. Voting to shuffle teams usually doesn't work and more often unbalances things than it does evening things out. |

Anti-clatter-gun-Club FTW.
It's like a damn rail gun, only with the power of a BFG9K. No recoil at all, and you just point and shoot, bang, your enemy is dead. Too easy.
I don't blame anyone for using it, but it does annoy me like hell.
It's mostly the AR-16 users who moan if they get slashed by a simple weapon combo.
They feel so powerful and calmly clatter their way through the entire map, probably humming a tune as they go, and then all off a sudden *poof*, one good shot from not too far away, dead, angry, controller flies against the wall, thinking "ZOMG DIS GUYZ A DAM CHETA FFS".
The guy who called me cheater today used an AR-16 too. (No surprise though, I guess.)
The voting system should be entirely different. The host should at least be able to determine which voting options should be on or off, e.g. votes to kick disallowed, votes to change captain allowed, etc.
The "shuffle team" vote is often used by the team that just lost a match.

My thoughts exactly, ar-16 is 2 easy. Now the rpg is realy hard to get kills from moving targets and from far away, but Oh so lovely when u do get a kill Undead any news on you getting a new ps3 yet ? |

LOL, that would be truly hilarious, almost worth getting killed repeatedly to see that lol
I was gonna chip in with a lonely 'actually I like to use the AR-16' voice, but I think I'll reconsider lol (or did I just do that? lol)
I know it's not the most popular weapon, and I am trying to use other weapons now, I actually quite like the FAL and the SAW sometimes, but I just can't get the hang of the RPG or grenade launchers, I always blow myself up in a panic lol

Bongo, I have nothing against you for using the AR-16, I know you're good with other weapons as well. It's the guys who only use the AR-16 and think they're god because of it. Once you set them up in a situation where they can't use it they freak out and fail miserably. |
