I'm still playing it as well.

It's not dead for good, in fact it's doing fine.
A lot of people are trickling back after finding MW2 to not be what they expected.
(I think MW2 is fine, it does have some problems. But some people hate it.)

There's a fair amount of servers up usually in all game modes, sometimes more than there used to be.

Might be true. Am I playing it at wrong times then? From what I've seen since the release of Mw2, the amount of players reduced to about a half.
Some people on my friends list haven't played it once since something like a half year ago... that's why I'm trying to collect opinions.  Tongue

yeh i occasionly pick up mu third story mode to go safe house hunting or to make a map and ranked just sucks now so i play the player matches, i must say some of the recent maps ive seen are awesome.

This is one of those games that I'll never sell.
If anything I'd buy another copy.  I have another broken ps3 I need to send to Sony to fix.  I bought it off of craigslist for $60.  And then I could have a friend over to play FC2 or MW2 or whatever.

From when FC2 was released I have bought it on all consoles (PC, 360 & PS3)
I've only sold the 360 version when my 360 died (the usual RRoD Sad )
I keep having BSoD when I use the PC editor - not sure why, I'd love to get to grips with it though.

I will always keep some form of FC2 on my shelves - no other game has the staying power, and that's singulary due to the brilliant editor.

Some players come and go, but eventually they all come back to the editor and make maps.
I can't see that changing until maybe FC3 or crysis2 (whatever that is Tongue)

This is nothing to do with ubi - they seem to have given up on it ages ago - it's all down to the superb FC2 mapping community Smiley

it Will never die....all those different maps...so much to play
i`m a real cod fan(started whit 1 till now)MW2 i raped the game when it got out... finished the single player(veteran) in less then a week and that cost 65 euro....i had more trouble whit black on ps2!
they should put a editor in MW2 and you have the perfect game...
there is still a lot to improve on fc2 but if they make the perfect game they cant make any more $ and in the end that's what its all about(2bad)and when Sony buy`s all the independent developers what they have been doing the last couple of years it will only get worse

the only improvment fro fc2 would be to get rid of the lag then it would be my perfect game im not a cod fan it laggs them most and i h8 bullets goin trough walls

I love bullets going through walls, as long as it's not all of the walls.  If they had material descriptions before placing items in the map maker that would be nice.  Like whether it's explosive, destructible, you can shoot through it, or you can do some sort of action with it.

got beef lol i dident do anything 2 bad i dident evan post a picture it was the other guy the funny thing is i still got that wale picture sorry undead avenger and the lag is the game because all my other games are work fine  anyways imleaving this site il see you online probly not for a few days im going through some compleate **** best not 2 talk 2 me anyway untill im myself again i dont want anything iv done 2 happen again
