That'd be a bit weird unless it was rocket or space shuttle. 'Cause everything gets a bit weird above the cirrus clouds. Which is like 10 miles up in the air, so it actually looks like you're leaving the atmosphere.

Did it for a second time and it crashed my game.  Shocked

The game seems to have problems with clipping. It appears that you actually break the border by flying higher than 8000m.
