Massive kudos to you DEEZ for the rebuild, shame about the sting in the tail though.

Not sure what that error means exactly, I just googled it (as I'm sure you have too) and it points to a network/connection problem - which again you know already.
Some posters recommend resetting the router.

About half way down that page there is a fix which worked for the guy who did it - something about a ribbon needing replacing - there are some pics showing this

I've had a search of various forums, and it seems it's quite a common problem, and frustratingly, one for which there appears no definitive answer, except that it may be the network adapter or ethernet assembly that is either broken or has become disconnected during the rebuild.
The ribbon cable that I've read quite a bit about seems to be very fragile and not very securely anchored at the best of times, so that may be the problem - some have reseated this and it has worked.
Just about everyone who has posted on the internet with this error code has the same symptoms, although a lot appear to have controller synch issues too.
Not all the problems were caused by rebuilds after YLOD though, some seem to on much older non-rebuilt machines.

Sony btw are not willing to furnish us with a reason for this code, they will either replace or repair apparently, which isn't very helpful.

I'll keep looking around to see if I can find out anything else.

plug out everything that has something to do whit your connection and it will reset your ip address....that should fix it

i get the same error when i take my ethernet cable and plug it in the laptop and back in the ps3...don`t know about the controllers that`s something else...i always reset the router and modem and in ps connection menu i let it search automatic and that`s it...nothing to do whit hardware....maybe think of selling it on at this point deez....if it runs games and you can get in all the menu`s then i think its the best thing you can do at the moment....even if you get it online it will only be 4 a few weeks

i started my TOTM map after being inspired by ktulu maps yesterday....that's a sweet map and well detailed...i got blasted from all directions so i went mad and started shootin RPG`s like a mad man....sorry randoms

I haven't started on my map yet. Unfortunately I probably wont have time this weekend to work on it. I'll also be going out of town on Monday  for probably a week. A friend of mine I haven't seen in a while is finished with this semester and I'm gonna hang out with him for a while.

I should be back in time to make up a map.

my map is almost complete....i`m working on the players entry and details....
both teams enter from the dressing rooms at each side and fight it out on the pitch...the locals made a bit of a mess off the playing field and lazy as hell to get the pitch ready for the World Cup....still some trees growing and some grass to be cut......

i`m ready for some testing in the next few days and hope to get it published this week......
