Righto guy's the wheels have been set in motion for this now and I'm happy tro announce this months Theme of the Month to be World Cup Stadium  As a tribute to the upcoming events I challenge you all to make a map that you would like the Stadium to look like, be it big, be it small, be it explosive, completely up to you. The canvas is blank and it's up to YOU to fill it with whatever notion pops into your minds.......as long as it resembles a football/soccer stadium it will be fine so go nuts   Deadline will be for 6pm (GMT) on the 6th of June, so get mapping guy's and have fun  |

i have made a start and have made some awesome ride on mowers and a line painter, now working on a couple of bulldozers! my aim is for a stadium under construction, i have made the pitch and will move into half complet stadium with the uncomplete bit travesible via jumps, should be good! |

I think I will have a go at recreating Wembly Stadium, the old one (and some say the best ) If it starts to get too much I might just do the new one - it looks easier with that big girder arch thing lol Don't hold your breath though lol, I'm sure it will all go wrong and I'll end up with an empty field and jumpers for goalposts lol |

i might not join this 1, im bad at statiums. Never seen you try. I too will probably stink at stadiums but I'll see if I can think up something better than just making a stadium as it'll probably end up a snipe-fest. |

i know. if i want to make a stadium map, it will be snippy beyond reason. if u want sniper maps, play bfbc1 or 2 lol
but how big does it have to be? futuristic or ancient? the rules were extremly vague.

Well Cherub said something about a stadium under construction which has tons of opportunity for cover and such.
I'm thinking of "World Cup 2012" type of map. LOL Dunno how it's gonna work though, might do something more linear.

The rules were vauge for a reason matey. The idea behind this was to see how creative you mappers can be with just one thing to base it around......If you don't want it to be overly snipey have it indoors with the roof callapsed in or something...plenty of cover there. Use your imaginations and I'm sure that you can come up with something decent that suits all classes. That is the challenge with this theme, all I ask is that it looks like a football/soccer pitch at the end of it |
