Any takers?
I'm thinking we should have one last map contest before (if) Far Cry 3 is coming out this year.
I'll be fixing my Jeep PC tonight and if I have time, I'm going to fix the ps3 again. Or tomorrow. But I'll be back online soon!

I know I've seen SupaScoopa and OSAMASTYLEZ playing FC2. I certainly think I'd be up for making another map.

I might be in...
Yesterday I played a match for the first time since November '10, and it felt like a massive lag fest. I'm still kicking ass, but I assume by about 40% worse than back when I played it every day. Not saying I'd care much about that, but there's a major difference between now and then.
Still, probably own more on FC2 than on KZ3 because there are no such things as special abilities and perks which give you advantages in various situations...

On KZ3 it's like: If you use engineer, you get owned by tacticians. If you use Infiltrator, you get owned by tacticians. If you use Medic, you get owned by tacticians. Which makes Tactician and Marksman the only useful classes to play, while all the other classes are nearly useless in some situations. Tactician can see enemies through walls and obstacles, while Marksman, as the counter-part to the tactician, is the only class that stands a chance against Tacticians. And now that there are so many tacticians around, I feel forced to adapt and use Tactician myself, or Marksman unless I want to do suicide.

A balanced game looks like this: Equal chances to win. Equal strengths of weapons. Equal detection AND counter detection methods. Last, but not least: NO RADAR. FC2 has all that which makes it the most balanced FPS after Cube and Doom, despite it has one particular gun that is completely overpowered...
Still I don't feel like playing FC2... but I might make few maps yet. At least one map...

Well I plan on making one more map for FC2. And it might be pretty soon because I'm going to fix the ps3 tonight. Not sure what I'm going to make yet though, but first I'm going to try to hop in a bunch of games and see who is still online.

As soon as I get my ps3 updated I'll be on this.
I think I want to give everybody two months for the contest, so even us slow ones will have plenty of time.
Deadline for the map will be the end of June.
